AIM Program
AIM – Answers In Music
The AIM Mentoring Program was founded in 2006 by ADR President Robert Hoffman. The program is designed to help singers/songwriters from our region to gain valuable experience as well as hone their craft with the help of professional musicians, engineers and producers.
About the Program
The year-long program takes the selected candidate into a professional digital studio to record their introduction demo. Once the demo is reviewed the mentor will design a custom program to help the student better understand their strengths and weaknesses. Throughout the process the candidate is taught about the studio environment, musical arrangement and production. At the end of the applicants tenure they return to the studio to record a final demo to analyze their progress.
What does it cost?
The program is absolutely FREE to the selected candidate. All we ask is that you take the opportunity seriously and that you utilize this valuable tool to help yourself grow as an artist. Applicants should also keep in mind that the program lasts for twelve months and may include a studio appearance each month.
When are applicants chosen?
Candidates are usually selected by November to begin programs in January the following year.
